Espresso
We have roasted this blend medium light,
which is traditional Italian style. Since espresso is so
concentrated, the lighter roast allows you to taste the pure
essence of the coffee, rather than the overwhelming flavor
of the roast. Contrary to popular belief, espresso is
neither a blend nor a dark roast; it is purely a method of
preparing coffee. We have added a small percentage of
Robusta beans to our blend which in turn increases caffeine
levels, improves crema, adds body and imparts a malt taste,
for that authentic Italian flavor. It has a light acidity,
excellent body and tastes of honey, chocolate, pralines,
tangerine, and cinnamon.
